Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Site Sign-In website, dashboard and worker sign-in tools (the “Service”) provided by Site Sign-In(“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Site Sign-In lets construction businesses record site inductions and daily attendance via QR-code sign-in, capture safety documents and signatures, and view live headcounts and evacuation lists. We may add, change or remove features over time.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and for your workers’ and staff’s use of the Service. You must be authorised to act for the business you register.

3. Free trial & subscriptions

We may offer a free trial. After the trial, continued use requires a paid subscription billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis. Fees are stated at sign-up or on our pricing page. Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable for partial periods. We may change pricing with reasonable notice; changes apply to the next billing cycle.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time; your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period and does not renew thereafter. We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment or breach of these Terms.

5. Your responsibilities and compliance

The Service is a record-keeping tool. You remain solely responsible for your work-health-and-safety obligations, for the accuracy and legality of the documents, inductions and records you create, and for obtaining any necessary consents from workers (including for photographs and location data). The Service does not provide legal or safety advice.

6. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service, including by attempting to access other organisations’ data, disrupting the Service, uploading unlawful content, or using it to infringe anyone’s rights or privacy.

7. Data & privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. You are the controller of the worker records you collect and are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect them.

8. Intellectual property

We own the Service and its software. You own the records and content you upload. You grant us the limited rights needed to host and process that content to provide the Service.

9. Availability & warranties

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under consumer law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified through the Service or by email. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts there have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
